Computer Guys - Which Would You Get?

I am contemplating getting one of THESE TWO NETBOOKS from Verizon. Either one is $150.

 

If you were to pick one of these two, which would you get, and why?

HP. it has more memory, comes with windows 7, slightly larger screen, and with a built in graphics card. what are the prices? that will tell.

 

Edit: Im not sure id buy a laptop from Verizon though. Look into Microcenter or Newegg.

Windows 7 is going to be the new big os. I absolutely hate vista but 7 is nice. The size of the thing is barely larger. Id say thats worth the extra memory. Id kill myself with only 1 gig of memory.

i agree with jeff. 1 gb ram is like nothing.

Given those choices: the HP, no contest. I think netbooks are stupid though and don't care about how large/small they are. Even the smallest are still big enough to be such an inconvenience that I would opt for a fully functional laptop.

Absolutely the HP. the nVidia Ion uses their 9400M chipset, which is actually a fairly competent mobile graphics solution. It's a netbook that can actually play video and render graphics. The Intel GMA950 in the Gateway (and 95% of other netbooks is a joke.)

 

Personally tho, i would buy neither. Minimum, you're paying $940+the cost of the netbook+ taxes. You're crazy to pay that!
