TurboNova
Well it took me a lot of research and while to collect all the components but I am excited that it is now about 90% complete. I have a finished basement and decided to use a portion of it and install a drop ceiling and do some can lights. The screen is an elite fixed frame 100". Mitsu projector, onkyo receiver, Klipsch surrounds, Klipsch Floor standers, Klispch sub 12, hooked to ps3 for blue ray and then my HD cable box. Then some theatre seating. Still have a few more things to do. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/100_0994.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/100_0995.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/100_0996.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/100_0991.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/100_0992.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/100_0993.jpg

944s2
Sweet setup, I love Klipsch but damn that center looks small next to that screen... lol. What towers are those? I have the RF-82's and the RW-12D sub,the rear dipoles and the center. I got them when the GF was at Best Buy. They had an accommodation from the factory, $999 for all the speakers shipped to the door no tax or shipping. Just for reference the towers alone were $999 retail. You don't need carpet, when we bought our house I thought I would need carpet, I was wrong, it sounds better down here than it did in the APT. I did however put a rug down. TurboNova
Thanks, yeah the towers are the r-52 they were expensive but like a all klipsch stuff, I think very worth it. The sub I think is my favorite, until this setup I have never had a quality sub. I would like a synergy center channel down the road. But it already sounds amazing, so not sure if I will do much more.

Its totally worth it to have nice speakers, they will last forever too. Now my friend in Cleveland has a $30,000 Paradigm setup with a 4000 watt sub. What pisses me off/makes me envious about this, is that every time I go up there I am amazed at how much better they really do sound, even though I consider my setup "expensive". TurboNova
Yeah my setup took a while to piece together and find "deals" and it too is "expensive" to me.
Alex L.
System is nice, room needs more on the walls though. Room feels too big with the blank white walls. I like the surround sound setup, we've got something similar to that in our basement.

wnaplay1647545503
Looks good but I would have went with carpet for the warm feeling. Those floors dont do it justice.
TurboNova
walls are a neutral tone color the pics did not come out right. I am more of a minimalist, I hate clutter so the walls will stay the same as far as more stuff hanging. I wanted to do carpet but leaning towards a nice accent area rug. I am planning on building a home theatre pc now.

But to each their own. Looks good.
bkstang95
Very nice! I have been piece mealing my home theater together too. Have all my surround sound set up (Paradigm) and had Carada custom make a screen for me to fit on my wall...Still can't make up my damn mind on a projector! The more i read, the more i confuse myself on what I want
Insley95
That looks killer. There is mine that I did last year, it's a 67" samsung, and a Bose theatre system. I did all the work myself. This was a small part in our remodel. We gutted the hole house and added on, as well as a 1350 sqft garage. http://i379.photobucket.com/albums/oo239/tifjon6095/house012.jpg http://i379.photobucket.com/albums/oo239/tifjon6095/house014.jpg http://i379.photobucket.com/albums/oo239/tifjon6095/house016.jpg
