Thinking about getting a bike, a KZ.

I have been kicking around the idea of buying a bike for some time now.

I would like to get a KZ. I will start with a 650, it will be stretched, lowered, flat black, etc. I will modding the hell out it and the motor. I hear that these motors are bullet proof?

I like the cafe racer look but with a low and long twist.

Two questions to CR

1. Would you want to be seen on a bike like this?

2. Does anyone on here know much about these bikes?

Thanks

Yes I do, but I want something to work on and make custom parts for.

I like the roots where your gsxr1000 came from.

You never answer.

I have called about other things with no answer like drop in hockey and such.

I'm ready to do a bike turbo kit. I have done two SRT-4's recently and a WRX.

Yea some kid called me recently talkin about how he was looking for someone to do a turbo upgrade on his srt-4, and said he toke it to the same dude who did my Evo, but completely described you. And you know Corey did mine.

I like the idea, and you don't see many around these days.

Erik hit the downside exactly though, parts for the bike are scarce and expensive. If you're planning on making most stuff you might get by, but I'd make sure to check the voltage output to the battery as a stator for that thing will run you $500 and I don't know how easily you could make that. Plastics and tanks are WAY expensive too so consider that if you're going to spray-bomb it. If you pick up one with good condition stuff you might consider selling it and buying beat up stuff to paint.

Yeah he thought i did yours for some reason when i first met him. I told him slowmotion did it.

That car needs help. The coil pack is fucked and he won't listen to me.
