Bigbird
No Bike can't: -be used for daily in rain if needed -go in snow if needed -haul stuff in if needed Fail on at least 2 counts, and saddle bags are always an option
Main3s
i wouldnt mind dying on that bike. I thought the same thing. I definatly couldn't handle it but it might be worth the risk.
cptn janks
No Bike can't: -be used for daily in rain if needed -go in snow if needed -haul stuff in if needed - absolutely it can. people ride in the rain all the time. - if for some weird reason you absolutely had to, you probably could. it wouldnt be the smartest idea, but its not impossible to ride in snow. - how much you haulin? I am sorry but I would have zero desire to ride in the rain, espically a cold one. If you are crazy enough to ride in ohio on our roads in the snow on a street bike they should make a movie about you. I would not want to try to ride a bike while hauling an entertainment center like I have in an f-body. Trying to compare bikes to cars is dumb, two different things. I am well aware of the advantages of bikes, but they are not for me. Sort of like some people like to get fucked in the ass, I am not one of them. ANYWAY Wife said they might be getting one of those up at the office for a display and she also heard there might be a bike demo coming to columbus. If this is on the demo I will let you guys know. Guest tbutera2112
first time ive heard riding a street bike being compared to getting fucked in the ass i can say all those same things about someone who chooses to daily an fbody through the winter instead of a truck, haul furniture with an f body, instead of a truck....if youre all about practicality, why dont you have a second vehicle? an fbody surely isnt the ideal winter beater, and if i needed some furniture moved, i would definately not be calling up BC to borrow the t/a ....and if you do have a second vehicle, then all your above points are null

Yes a bike is cheaper to make go fast but I am not brave enough to go 10 seconds in the quarter on 2 wheels. You guys that do that have my respect and are a different breed. I may be a hillbilly but not enough of one to try and haul furniture in an f-body. Maybe I should have been more clear it was an walmart needs put together entertainment center. Got-Boost?
I'm willing to bet a Japanese bike still rapes it. Ask Ducati how that feels. It's like anything else, the bike is only as good as the rider. If you mean in a straight line, the BMW prevails...

SquirrelyNutsDSP
Though others may disagree, having the fastest thing out there does not always bring the most joy. I'd love to see how the BMW bike feels and see if it has any character. After working for zee Germans last summer I feel much more strongly about that company and their products, very focused on driver/rider experience. Excellent stuff. As for Ducati getting raped by Japanese bikes, it's like having a Ferrari upstaged by a Lexus LF-A or something. There's still space in my garage for both. So BMW drag bike = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
