Garage door opener/firewood questions...

Bam

Recommended Posts

First off, my mom needs a new garage door motor/opener thing installed, anyone have recommendation for places to try, or should I just send her to Lowe's (I think I saw they do it).

Second, anyone know of places to get cheap/free firewood? We just got a firepit and I thought about buying it by the truckload, for this and for the fireplace next winter...

thanks

Openers are easy for anyone who can read directions and turn a screwdriver. I installed the door tracks, hung the opener from the ceiling, hung the screw/rail thingy and wired everything in about 6 hours. Only 1-2 of those were spent on the opener itself.

Lowes has companies install everything for them. You go in, tell them you want an opener, they send someone out to tell you what you need, and come back later to install it. My company does this for Zanesville/Newark Lowes. Or you can call a garage door company directly.
