Bam
First off, my mom needs a new garage door motor/opener thing installed, anyone have recommendation for places to try, or should I just send her to Lowe's (I think I saw they do it). Second, anyone know of places to get cheap/free firewood? We just got a firepit and I thought about buying it by the truckload, for this and for the fireplace next winter... thanks
Radio Flyer1647545514
Look in the newspaper for firewood or go to some farm.
nurkvinny
Openers are easy for anyone who can read directions and turn a screwdriver. I installed the door tracks, hung the opener from the ceiling, hung the screw/rail thingy and wired everything in about 6 hours. Only 1-2 of those were spent on the opener itself. Tractor
I see a "firewood for sale" sign on Polaris Pkwy in that field across from the new Children's Hospital sometimes.
brent1976
Lowes has companies install everything for them. You go in, tell them you want an opener, they send someone out to tell you what you need, and come back later to install it. My company does this for Zanesville/Newark Lowes. Or you can call a garage door company directly.

Patterson
I have a pile of scrap wood from a de-construction project last week. It is mostly 2x4's and lawn timbers. But pm if you want it. I was thinking of posting it up here for someone to come get it.
