spankis
+1 for Stone IPA, just had one last night. Magic Hat #9 and oddly enough Buckeye Beer Can find both at Anderson's off of Brice.
cinergi
Go to the Andersons, World Market or Trader Joes and see what you can find.
87GT
Go to Giant Eagle and buy the 24oz banana bread beer they have. You can only buy it in single bottles. Shit is wonderful but not all the giant eagles sell it, 161 and 71 for example doesn't.
3.1cutlass
Any Great Lakes are good, Dortmunder is my favorite. Also any of the Blue Moon flavors, Honey Moon is out now and is excellent.

If you're into trying new/different things, get one of those and a Young's Double Chocolate Stout. Fill a pint glass halfway with the Banana Bread beer and then use a spoon to float the Young's on top of it. Its called a Banana Split and you will love it. twistedfocus1647545489
Great lakes eddy Fitzgerald is the best beer kroger carries IMO. Totally agree. If you like hoppy IPAs, there is none finer than Dogfishhead 90 Minute IPA. It's my favorite beer. In fact my favorite home brew to date is a very close copy. As close as I can get with a fermenting bucket in my basement anyway...

Sounds tasty and it's new to me.
twistedfocus1647545489
I think he's saying it's kinda like doing a Black & Tan properly, you pour the heavier beer in gingerly over a spoon so it doesn't mix into the lighter beer on the bottom(just floats on top). twistedfocus1647545489
oooh gotcha, so it kinda fans out over the top.. I will have to try this Just to be more specific, sounds like a 50/50 overall mixture is called for (like a B&T) and you typically would pour over the bottom of the spoon. twistedfocus1647545489
Another Great Lakes flavor, "Blackout Stout", scored a perfect 100 from 388 votes. I will definitely have to find some of this too. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/great-lakes-barrel-aged-blackout-stout/53647/ Try "From the Vine" just off Polaris on Old State. They usually have some of the greats but will order you damn near anything including rare beers if they don't have them. They actually seem to base alot of their choices off of ratebeer.com's reviews.

verse
If you're going to Krogers, then your best bet is Hoegaarden. Probably the best beer they have there.
oh8sti
does anyone know if the giant eagle off 23 has the banana beer and the chocolate stout? I feel like trying something new tonight.
