dakotart
I'm having some electrical issue. The symptoms are as follows: When accelerating (or on the gas at all) the head lights dim. (sylvania bulbs). After 15 min or so of driving, when using the turn signal, the tach needle flips between current RPM and zero in the same pace as the turn signal. Also after 15 min or so of driving, turning on the parking lights and head lights causes the water temp gauge to immediately jump up in indicated temp. Notes: Ground cables are tight as is positive at battery. no corrosion on battery which is only 1-2 years old. Alternator belt is tight. Any ideas? I'm going to try and get my meter hooked up so that I can see the current voltage and if it is changing. Thanks, Rich
Patterson
Definately a grounding issue. I would check from the block to chassis. Have you done anything major to the car lately?
