zeitgeist57
Anyone know more about how much Englefield Oil is charging for biodiesel? The 3550 Enterprise Ave location is pretty close to me. Also, how do the 24-hour pumps work...by credit card or do you need some sort of commercial fuelcard? http://columbus.bizjournals.com/columbus/stories/2010/06/07/daily39.html

Diesel Pilot
I know this doesn't Answer your question but the meijer on diley road in canal has biodiesel, but they charge the same amount. It's B5 (5% bio) at Meijer. Sunoco on 33 North of Lancaster has B20. carry a spare fuel filter if you run bio shit cleans the whole system. x100, mine wouldn't do more than 1/2 throttle after running just 2 tanks through it. how much cheaper is bio? i've never run it. Usually the same, but the benefit of have the system cleaned and much better lubricity than Ultra Low Sulfur fuel is tremendous. B5 is way better than even the best fuel additive on the market, in terms of lubrication value.

Berto
I found this website that has biodiesel fuel stations but most of them seem agriculturally oriented... which makes me wonder if they are running the tax exempt fuel with red dye. http://findbiodiesel.org/
rl
I run the Meijer stuff all the time and havent had issues with it. Seems to work well.
MackDaddy43
Is it true that running biodiesel or WVO will eat away at any rubber in the lines? I've been thinking about trying it out on my jetta
Berto
Depends on if your car/engine is rated for biofuel. I think MOST diesels are fine with B5, B20 is questionable tho.
zeitgeist57
Last fall, I ran a gallon of biodiesel with around 17gal of ULSD, and Cleetus loved it...until it got colder in the mornings (below 40 degrees)...it surged and bucked a bit at idle after a long cold start. Not good. I DO love biodiesel, but the stuff I used was distilled from waste veggie oil and it wasn't the best. I've heard canola/soy biodiesel has a much lower cloud point and resists gelling better.
