Berto
why did you guys only do 2.5"? thanks guys, now i know what mufflers to not buy for the camaro I forget but 2.5 inch dual is enough for like 600rwhp. My stuff is stock, and even if I got a cam and bolt ons, I would still be fine. 2.5 inch was also the limit in terms of size because I ran my exhaust up and over my trans mount, which even with 2.5 inch piping I had to shave a few bosses off the trans. My application is custom though. So the only thing you can really take from my experience is that I am really happy with the sound of the mufflers. LS_Sonoma
2.5" is pretty effin big. Especially X2. Now there are scenario's (F-Bodys) where alternate exhaust configurations are needed due to physical limitations. There's a real great exhaust thread on LS1tech by PatrickG...I'll try to find it for you.

If so, where did you get it done?
Berto
Is your stuff mandrell bent? If so, where did you get it done? It is mandrel bent. I did it myself because it was going to cost me the same to do it myself after buying a welder than having it done and then i probably wouldn't be happy with it. Bought a builder kit on http://www.mandrel-bends.com, stamped x-pipe on ebay, mufflers from a local race shop.

Berto
Soooooooo, wanna make me a set of TD's?? Sure if you have a lift and cover my gas to get back to Cbus. When the house is done being built, I will be inviting you over for a beer. I'd be ok with two beers too. Not sure if this is kosher since this is not a camaro, but here is my exhaust pics. I decided to go up and over the trans crossmember to make sure the exhaust wouldn't drag on the ground. The x-pipe is tucked up under the driveshaft. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/RX-7/LS1%20Swap%20into%20the%20RX-7/DSC03389.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/RX-7/LS1%20Swap%20into%20the%20RX-7/DSC03390.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/RX-7/LS1%20Swap%20into%20the%20RX-7/DSC03392.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/RX-7/LS1%20Swap%20into%20the%20RX-7/DSC03396.jpg
SinisterSS
havent heard them on LSX's, but LMIIs are my absolute favorite muffler on mustangs...they have such a nice sound to them, and theyre not just straight through nastyness like the LM1...i think they get overlooked so often because hear Loudmouth and think of LM1s which sound like dick and heres a cammed lsx clip...hard to find a decent quality clip of an lsx with these, theyre all distorted or something lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uJC93rahNs I have the loudmouth 1, people seem to like it: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=21856572

SlowC6
Corsa sport catback, the louder of the two on my 98 C5 i liked it cause it was quiet when I was crusing but i kind of wish it was louder when I was at full throtle. My new 08 has the NPP, which i will probably switch out when I get my longtubes.
I Eat Rice
On my old WS6 I ran three inch all the way back with no mufflers, I also had an off road y pipe and long tubes. I think it had a loudmouth catback on it as well (most of the parts were on the car when I bought it) but there was no mufflers. It was very loud but I liked it when people could hear my car from a few miles away

You have the loudmouth 1. The LM2 has a glasspacked style muffler, the LM1 has the hollow resonator.
V8 Beast
Are you going for sound alone, performance, or both?
AJ
i already had an idea what muffers i am going to run i just wanted to see if there was a ton of people with them. performance first, i do have a 95db max that i am looking for. track rules have a 98db max so i'm looking to stay below that.
