SpaceGhost
I'm seeing potential unhappy customers who are going to switch from AT&T to Verizon for 2 reasons. 1) No voice + data (not a big deal to most people) 2) Do a speedtest on an AT&T iphone and you will be pulling down 3-4mb/s. Do a speedtest and a verizon phone and you'll be getting 2-300kb/s (both on 3G) It's that slow?
CRed05
It's that slow? Yeah, AT&T and T-Mobile cruise at that speed on EDGE. We messed around with it yesterday. I tested a Droid 1, Droid X and Droid Pro on Verizon and all 3 pulled around 2-300kbps on 3G. On EDGE I pulled those speeds, on 3G I pulled a max of 4.52Mbps on 3G. TwistedFocus on here, who I work with pulled the same speeds as me on his iphone 4. Edited January 13, 2011 by kickass

staywide8
Eh, I disagree on speeds. Even out here in Heath, where my service is less than stellar, I average 1500kbs, with a spike of 1800. Still not 3-4 megs, but not horrible. Rally Pat
Im getting .14 mbps as work here, but I think its because of the repeaters in the building. I usually get about 4 mbps everywhere else. iPhone 3GS
twistedfocus1647545489
TwistedFocus on here, who I worked with... Do you know something I don't know? Have they "fixed the glitch"? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_eFWDTYBFkqA/S9b697WaR9I/AAAAAAAAAUo/6sA9j2gUK4E/s1600/MiltonWaddams.jpg

lcz06
Their finally bring it to Verizon! I plan on picking this up some time at the end of the year. It's about time.
V8 Beast
It could be area dependent. I did do it at 2 different locations though, in Delaware and in Powell with the same results. Its dependent on area. I get faster speeds than that on my droid in Hilliard and Dublin. In Deleware at my inlaws house the signal strength is pretty weak.
