Skinner
well since I had the weekend and the house to my self this weekend I decided to strip, polish, and wax the Jeep. Thanks to Killjoy for letting me his orbital made a huge difference. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1908.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1909.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1910.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1913.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1914.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1915.jpg favorite pic http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1918.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1921.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1919.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1922.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1923.jpg poser flex pics http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1925.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1926.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/Jeep/100_1927.jpg

Skinner
looks great! What did you use? Products and steps, please? Shame Cherokees rust so easily...they are such a classic design... washed it twice with dawn dish soap, clay bared everything, washed it with car soap, jax wax medium fine polish on the rough areas, and fine polished the entire Jeep. Finished it off with a out of jax wax wet wax. I have since removed the rest of the rubber strips still some residue on the roof but I'll address that later. I washed it again today and it has anther coat of wax drying as I type this. Since I have the buffer next weekend if its as nice as today I will see if I can clean up the van aka the swirl monster. Note: my Jeep has no visible rust on it the previous owner had it undercoated when they bought it and I am guessing it lived its life in a garage. Clean ones are out there you just have to look for them. Also they did come in a manual if you ever considered getting one.

Clean ones are out there you just have to look for them. Also they did come in a manual if you ever considered getting one. In 2008, I saw a 2001 Cherokee that had rust in the rain-rails after only 60k miles. Also, my younger brother had a '96 County Cherokee...nice, but started rusting so badly after a few years that the front steering bracket broke off the front axle with my dad on the highway...he was lucky the thing didn't careen into a wall or flip over. No thanks for a stick-shift Cherokee as a DD. I f**king hate rust.
Sully
Looks good. I was wanting to wash and wax my truck today, but didn't get to. Looks like it's suppose to be nice next weekend, so hopefully I'll get it done then. BTW, you have hair again! Last time I saw you, your head was shaved. LoL! Skinner
FACT-jeeps hate being clean good work Thanks I have gotten it sloppy muddy a couple times and thought is was meh. Don't care for mud boggin. I would love to have access to some land just to ride trails and explore on. To me that sounds like a blast. Patrick
Surprisingly, my old Cherokee had close to no rust-it was all paint peeling. Yours looks great though.
