Any one use any sole inserts liek dr shoals in there shoes? what ones do you like best an why?

I bought the Dr Scholl's inserts after checking out the machine at Meijer. $50 well spent IMO. Lower back and feet feel much better now after standing/walking all day.

I believe in the inserts. I've had a lot of back pain in the past 2 years, and I can tell a huge difference on the days I wear a loose-fitting shoe vs. my work shoes with inserts. I have no real idea why they help, but they do.

 

Plus, chicks think you are 1/4" taller.

Def try some place that has the wii fit like pad that shows where the high/low pressure is on your feet to set you up with the right insoles. It'll make it worth every penny. Try the good feet store, red wing shoes, etc.

I've tried inserts, but they tend to move out of place and bunch up for me.

 

I have a pair of Dr. Scholls shoes with the gell inserts glued into them that I wear at work.

Go to Road Runner Sports and get some custom inserts. My shin splints drastically decreased after getting them.

I have Dr Scholl's inserts{after trying the meijer machine} in my running shoes. I have flat feet and these inserts have helped out alot w/ shin splints and general foot pain from running.

I wear custom molded orthotics and really cant tell a difference. I would research the type of shoe/boot recommended for the style of work I was doing.

go to the podiatrist and get orthotics. my last ones i got were carbon fiber and i ran probably thousands of miles on them.

had mine for over a year and ran 20+ miles a week and they still seem do be going a good job.

I dont do much/any running, but may try to start again if i have good luck with them...when i messed up my back in an accident a couple years ago, my back kills after standing for more than a couple hours...might try them out.

I had custom fit inserts made at American Orthopedics on 5th. I recommend seeing a doctor first though and trying to get a prescription.

Because I got the prescription I ended up paying about $65 on a $800 bill.
