So instead of filter through 1000 pages of junk you think its ok to make it 1001 pages of junk... :nono:

The whole point of this is to NOT be a page of junk but of earnest worthwhile discussion which neither yourself, or notBrian has yet to contribute.

.....until he forms this "world gov't" with the UN.

I have heard this quite a few times but what makes us think that it is Obamas vision or intention of forming a New World Order? I have watched a few of those Alex Jones videos and the guy is a bit deranged

Since I'm not one to repeat myself I'll just copy something I found with a 20 second search.

I am extremely disappointed in CR. There was a time when a thread like this would spark an intelligent debate. Now it just gives people a chance to show how good they are at googling reasons to hate people. You are suppose to know this stuff and prevously used it to form an opinion... not form an opinion then look for reasons aferwards.

I will not vote for Obama because it will not personally benefit me. The amount I make and my age range is in an area where he will negatively impact me to positvely assist another. As a nation the man behind a suit is almost interchangable so that's why I vote for personal reasons. Presidents to me are people that look and act like they are in power but are in more ways powerless. For everything they do some will hate it and some will love it. In the end trying to please everyone has resulted in many presidents leaving America worse off than when they started. They should change the president title to scapegoat, fall guy, or my personal favorite...The Wizard of Oz.

Everything you want has been done and it was done very very very recently. Now stop being a lazy American...

Not quite what I was looking for but I guess you have to give to get.....I'll bite.

I am not "for" him for the same reasons I am not "against" him. I feel like he just another guy albeit a bit more intelligent than the US average trying to do the best he can with what he has.

The POTUS needs to be more than just another guy.....

a bit more intelligent? what has he done to prove that? We can all do the best with what we have. That's not the job of POTUS. He needs take us into the future making more of what we have today without driving us into the ground further.

The economy here has been bad like the rest of the world and that is no reason to blame him for it or expect that he fixes it overnight.

I don't think anyway expects him to fix it overnight. My expectations are he shows us a plan that will fix it period. So far, I don't see his plan as a fix nor do I see it doing anything prosperous for the nation.

Personally I have made more money this year than I have in any previous year so just using my personal economics I out to love him.

congrats. many others are doing better too. however, in my family's case, I'm paying more in taxes and am facing the probability of paying a lot more. Something I certainly understand given "his leadership" However I disagree with my paying more to support his socialist ideology. He's doing nothing but lowering the bar.

I expect him to make rational decisions based upon the best facts available and for the benefit of the people and not to its detriment.

Me to. Show me how he's done this please.

Maybe you should reread the question as you have not answered it but instead have given a reason for why people should not hate Obama. I appreciate your attempt at least to contribute though.

What I am looking for would be the personal reasons why people dislike or are against Obama and or Obama administration.

Furthermore If you would say how you would be negatively impacted by Obamas policies, that would certainly be helpful. I don't think that you make above 250,000 per year but I may be wrong.

Let me repost my quote in #7

"Because I have yet to see anything those knuckleheads have done to better the country or my situation"

I then opened the door for you to show me otherwise. You never did that. Door is still closed.

If you must know, as a family we do. So, yes you're wrong. I've also provided reason...such as I'm not for his socialistic ideals. Regardless of our income. I'm not for his ways of thinking. It lowers the bar vs raising the standards. We as Americans have expectations of him, but we also have expectations of our neighbors. It's time everyone becomes accountable. As the POTUS, he needs to hold people accountable, not give them more ways out while riding the coat tails of others.

My quotes above were not directed at you PDGGP they were directed at Brian.....Sorry for the confusion......This is all you.

The POTUS needs to be more than just another guy.....

I do not expect the President to never make a mistake or be Superman. That was what I meant by another guy......He is a human being and entitled to everything that makes us human.

a bit more intelligent? what has he done to prove that? We can all do the best with what we have. That's not the job of POTUS. He needs take us into the future making more of what we have today without driving us into the ground further.

Even people who don't like him would have a hard time saying that he is not intelligent. I don't have an IQ test handy or anything but from listening to him speak and watching his responses to peoples questions on the fly

I can assume that the hamster is spinning the wheel upstairs. He seems to be at least on the same mental plane as previous presidents and in at least one case, significantly above. As far as making more of what we have today, could you elaborate a bit on what you mean by this? Manufacturing in the US has been on a decline for some time but I don't think this is what you may be referring to.

I don't think anyway expects him to fix it overnight. My expectations are he shows us a plan that will fix it period. So far, I don't see his plan as a fix nor do I see it doing anything prosperous for the nation.

Health Care Reform was one of these ideas that was designed to lower the deficit as confirmed by many economists while trying to cover as many people as possible. Personally I would like to see a single payer system but that would be too much change all at once. He has provided tax cuts for installing cleaner cost saving appliances and whatnot. I can't really find anything that he has done or promoted that is completely ludicrous, hence this discussion.

I don't think Obama has a socialist ideology at all.

At least no more than we already are. Taxation itself is socialist, our transportation and sanitation systems are "socialized" etc.

Me to. Show me how he's done this please.

I guess I don't know what you expect him to do. I would have liked to see more done with healthcare, he has lowered taxes and increased the possibility of getting tax credits, has helped stabilize the auto industry, etc.

Repiglicans may be stupid but everybody hates the Spendocrats because they have no testicles.

Not all republicans are stupid. I personally don't understand how someone could accept all republican tenets or all democratic tenets but there are plenty of fiscally conservative, socially liberal peeps out there.

Again reading comprehension > You. I have no problem with people googling things so long as they are facts. You stated that he is just "a man in a suit" and "could be replaced with anyone". This statement alone says that I have no reasons to like or dislike him. The question again is why do people dislike him/ them. Its really not that hard.

I don't expect him to be perfect, but I do expect him to think things through. He's obviously not done that. Especially in terms of getting "buy-in" for what he believes is such a good idea. Good for who? Bad for who? He's yet to really think that through if you ask me.

He is a great orator. That's clear and noted many times. I don't give much credit for that though. I'm a great public speaker too and get plenty of practice. I rather look for him to "show me" not "tell me". He's not shown me yet.

So his plan is to spend a shit ton of money, sink us deeper into debt, have all of us pay for everyone else and leave my kids to pay for it all? I call that Ludicrous.

He's lowered taxes great......he's spent a shit ton more money too. More money that we literally have too, thus our dollar is plunging like my toilet. My kids thank him for that...as does China.

The auto industry.....so you're giving him credit for that? I think companies like GM did what they finally should have done and it took the likes of hitting bottom to do it. I don't give credit to him for that. GM finally started putting some shit together...and it's not done yet. Ford...never took any of that money and they didn't need it and are doing just fine. He's not getting any of my brownie points for that either.

What do you feel like he hasn't thought through? I am sure that not every policy rolled out is exactly as he intended it to be. He is somewhat at the mercy of congress to create a bill for the good of the people. He can only sign what is presented to him but it is up to him to get congress to make policies in the right direction and I feel he has done this. Healthcare, removing reliance on coal and oil and moving towards sustainable energy, reforms to *try* to prevent the financial crisis from happening again. I do feel that Obama makes choices for the good of the people in general. This doesn't mean that every decision will help everybody.

I agree that it doesn't take intelligence to be a great orator as anyone can have a speechwriter but this is why I included in this his reactions and answers to peoples questions on the fly.

A country that's better off today vs not

I think we are a long way away from this but I guess it comes back to your previous statement and that is better for whom? I feel that the US is and will continue to be controlled by big business and this is not something that Obama can or maybe even wants to change. This alone is what is ruining this country, not Obama IMHO.

So his plan is to spend a shit ton of money, sink us deeper into debt, have all of us pay for everyone else and leave my kids to pay for it all? I call that Ludicrous.

Health care has a high initial cost but will save money in the long run as compared to our previous system. By the same logic other kids will be paying for your kids as well but the US has always had a deficit except for once in the 1800's if I remember correctly. Spending for the better of the economy is not such a bad thing, although I completely agree there is a great need for government efficiency and if this is something Obama has been pursuing he has not been very vocal about it.

Because I believe in the trickle down theory where obama does the complete opposite. Tax cuts don't do anything once I get laid off because my work couldn't afford to keep me due to tax increases.

I am not a big fan of trickle down economics because all we seem to get at the bottom is dirty, used up water. I believe in investing in infrastructure and public works projects as well as efficient and clean energy production.

Lol@ not all republicans are stupid, of course I was joking. I have always found it funny that when people want less government in terms of economics they are fiscally conservative, but when they want less government in their personal house they are socially liberal.

how about this----

obama (gov't) takes half of my hard earned money, and redistributes it to people who don't deserve it.

obama pushed a bill through that directly affects what i do for a living---pushing me to work harder for less money

i'd say that's just cause to have a strong dislike for someone, wouldn't you??

I hate him because my dad makes less money cause of him, thus less cool toys for me. Seems like a pretty good reason to not like him. Come to the top 5% tax bracket and tell me how much you love Obama and his people. Until then, keep cranking out babies with your girlfriend and collect my dads taxes to feed them.

That stir it up a bit ya gayboy?
