XChris1632X
Does anyone know of a good interior shop to make replica covers for all the seats and pads of my Mastercraft? A lot of it was showing cracks before but the fall it really started to take a shit. I know of a place called Copy Cat that you sent all your covers to and they send you new ones back but Im just looking for other options. I dont want to spend a huge bit of money on it since I just found out I am having a baby. Im trying hard enough to keep myself convinced not to sell the boat. Clifford Automotive
Check the boats section on craigslist. Im right there with you, but I would never sell my boat.
FormulaMatt
I just had mine done 2 years ago. Was very cheap. I think he closed up his shop and is working for someone else now. I will call him and see if he wants any side work. Mine came out great. Definitely check craigslist, but avoid sunfun marine like the plague. All kinds of number changing will happen. Also, PM Total Sign (Tommy). He has a Amish guy that does good cheap work.
FormulaMatt
And, don't sell the boat. Your kid will love it! My son was only a year old this past summer and we had him out almost every weekend on the cuddy. He loved it. Good luck and congrats on the baby! Total Sign
If you are looking to just have everything re-done as it was, can you send me some pictures? tmmii at yahoo
XChris1632X
Yeah, even if it wasnt 100% identical would be fine with me as long as the basic design and pattern is there. The only thing I would really like is the two cushions that have embroidery on them that say X-Star. I dont have all the interior pics right now but I will see what I can take soon. Are you doing interior now?
Total Sign
Can embroider it with whatever you want. And it is starting to get off the ground.

Nitrousbird
If you decide to sell, I should be in the market this year. I've been looking at some Centurions, but could easily consider an older X-star at the right price.

Nitrousbird
That's a good looking boat! Wakeboard boats are the shit. Too bad they are fucking expensive and hold their value better than other boats.

FormulaMatt
I know they aren't really built up for speed, but what do they usually run?
XChris1632X
I know they aren't really built up for speed, but what do they usually run? Mine does a swift 45 miles an hour! Some are far better than others but my hull design is meant to plow through the water instead of cut through it. It drinks the gas though when trying to cruise on it. It's got a lot of power but it is geared to run it all down low. When I fill my balasts up I have over 2k pounds of water weight plus what ever gear and people I have in the boat and it will come right out of the water. Some of the newer ones cruise better and more efficiently but all have top speeds of around 45-50 mph. It's hard for many boats to beat my wake though. Mastercraft still manufactures boats today. built with the same hull as mine.
