TurboNova
Just a single and thanks. Plan on around 750whp with the 5.3 and 76mm. Precision rates that 4788 at 1400hp, there are a bunch of 320-360ci motors making 12-1300 at the wheels going 7.90-8.30s so that's my going once I finish the 6.
CRAWDAD
7.90-8.30 you are gonna need more bars in that cage.
TurboNova
Yup, I just want 8.50-8.99's and maybe some lower glory passes.

TurboNova
More pics will come but the turbo stuff is coming along great.I really could not be more happy with fit and finish. I also picked up a 6.0 and have started to pick up some parts. Going to run the pro flo intake. going to go all pro heads and build a forged 370 http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/ad5bdc8e.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/c97efafe.jpg

TurboNova
progress update: Well I have made a ton of forward progress on the car over the past month or two. The entire hot side is complete. and the cold side was completed as well. At first I was going to be using all mild steel but went to stainless and very pleased that I did on the hot side. Got the coils custom mounted, twin a 1000 pumps mounted, driveshaft hoop and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff done. Got the new driveshaft made and installed, mounted remote trans cooler and shifter mount fabbed up. I am excited to get the forged 370 in it and get everything plumbed and wired then hit the rollers. I am currently changing the one intercooler pipe to use the pro flo intake since I will be putting in the forged 6.0 before I get it tuned here at the first of the year and shoot for 1000+ RWHP. I may be switching to a cable drive fuel pump or goto a magna fuel pump along with upping from the 83lb injectors to 160's as well. So I will have no issues making 1000-1200 on corn. I am not going to stop until I make it deep into the 8's. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/61b60c44.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/0ba9396d.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/cb6b9e90.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/f9949c89.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/179678a5.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/4e8040b6.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/a65c3f36.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/e270890c.jpg

GSXRAntwon
How did u mount the turbo like that? Is it suspended on the piping or is there a fixed bracket? Pics up close? SHIT IS BAUCE!
TurboNova
I copied no one. Still not sure if a1000 pumps will support enough injected e85. Everything is solid mounted and the turbo is braced to the frame. No pics of it really, it's a nice piece though.
TurboNova
May step upto a 25.5 cert next year if I can go fast enough
GSXRAntwon
Gotcha, thanks for the info as that's how/where I'm mounting mine. So u used flex sections in the hotside piping as well I take it?
DavidBaustert
Hopefully that IC will support that power with the E85. I know with that same core on my car around 400whp on a 4cylinder on pump gas it just turned into a big heat sinc. Moved up to a spearco core with custom end tanks. Build looks great man! TurboNova
Yeah there are injected cars on ls1tech making 850whp with no core at all with e85 so I'm good

So u used flex sections in the hotside piping as well I take it? No prob man, I used 1 stainless flex (non braided) just for ease of install. Don't really need one as mine is all solid mounts

Mattsv8
u will have more pump than u will use. i went 9.03 at 151 with a single a1000 on e85. and had fuel to spare. im shure evan with efi u will have more than enuf
TurboNova
We will see, it seems like everyone who used e85 injected ran out around 8-850 on twins but I'd love for it to be enough
