I get that the Speed3's are 2 years newer and all, but I can't see it making THAT much of a difference in price. Apparently the lack of marketing for the Speed6 really hurt the car in the used marketplace. I've seen a few examples on Autotrader that are well into the 100k mileage range so I think with proper maintenance it should last. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
inthetwisties Posted January 29, 2011 Report Share Posted January 29, 2011 Here in mid-Febuary my speed3 will be up for sale. ~15k, 57k miles. may be able to work on price lol But for my opinion, Im obviously going with the speed3....since it's just going to be a daily. More usable space inside than an lgt, looks better (imo), I feel like the interior is a lot better in the ms3 too, handles the same if not better, is quicker, crises real well and I really like the gearing...more than enough power in every gear so there is no need to really ever downshift to pass, etc. It has an incredible power band. Mines been incredibly reliable minus my 2nd gear going out. But I'm replacing the entire tranny so that isn't a prob. I average around 20-21 city and 30+ interstate.
