I've wanted one ever since I got a taste of DJ's. The interior was lightyears beyond anything you'd expect from Pontiac, power was obviously there, and everybody has an opinion on the exterior but they've grown on me personally.. clean and subtle.

and then i rode in my buddy's V8 S5 about a month ago after we installed a catback system on it. don't get me wrong, i still love the GTO, but it felt like driving a tractor compared to the S5, even though the GTO was clearly much faster. for the money though, you can't beat them. they can cruise all day long at 80mph on the freeway under 2000rpms, and can be made just about as fast as you'd like.

LOL Like comparing a scalpel to an axe, but you won't find a S5 for under 20 grand. lolzsauce.

A H/C LS1 will make almost the exact power a H/C LS2. They should be within 10-20 wheel.

I would get the LS2 due to the weight difference. Having that extra 10-20 with the added weight could come in handy.

Face it, in 9 months that GTO is going to be modded, and you know this mannnnnnn!!!! More hp, and beefier tranny in the LS2 GTO's. If you are hard on the car the extra money will be worth it. If its a fast grocery getter and you truly reallly really are not going to mod it save the cash.

Nope, you get to race the old beat dick 2000. 2.7 V6 FI VS 3.8 V6 FI.

YOU CAN'T LOSE BRO

I think the term is "bruh" nowadays with the young'ins?

And in response to an earlier post, nope, still sporting the stock, non-built engine and same blower housing that Pontiac threw on this over-weight sedan piggy in 2004.
