Everything goes dead and resets when you hit the start button, starter clicks once. I jumped the starter relay, car turns over just fine but we are tripping the theft deterrent system and no fuel is being injected. Wondering if there's any quick fixes or bypasses... SinisterSS Posted February 10, 2011 Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 if its a push start car make sure the battery in the transmitter isn't dead, and there's a procedure on resetting it by placing it in a slot inside the center console and following the procedure, that's all the problems I have seen, but you may have something different, maybe scott will jump in and help since he works for a GM dealer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nate1647545505 Posted February 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 what was the problem? security control module. we were able to short the crank/run relay and the starter relay and it was enough to get the car to start and drove to the dealer.
