Need some insight

To make this as short and sweet as i can, i'll get right to it. I want to open a restaurant, something small, 40-50 person occupancy. I need to know if anyone on here has been through the in's and out's of starting one, and what steps should i take to get financing?? Any help would be nice, i seem to know no one that ever wanted to open their own spot.

I would think if you are a chef or know a really good chef you can get cheap. you are golden.

When you have an area you want to open up in, get ahold of their chamber of commerce. Most cities are putting plans in place to assist new business to help bring in revenue.
