I'm the 'senior american' person here so my manager, who is Japanesse, woke me up at 5AM PST to figure out if we should evacuate to higher ground or not. We are 4 miles inland from the bay and at 120ft ASL. Just means I got less sleep the night before our last day of work and a red eye. However my sister and brother-in-law are in Hawaii and were staying at the beach, they did evacuate.
