AWW$HEEET
what sort of gape are you guys running on your plugs? if you run NGKs is there a bigger gape or a smaller gape? how bout if i run bosch quadrupple prong platinums, is it 4 times the gape? Patterson
Keep those things .030-.040. Unless you're running a really hot aftermarket igntion, it's gonna make it tough for the spark to jump without being blown out. Average Gape is Good. Mr. Jones
PS: The new bosch side fire's are like the second coming of jesus in Audi land. Fixing all kinds of misfires under boost, and missing problems. They are putting them in like a magical fix for everyhing, with amazing results. http://jhmotorsports.com/shop/catalog/images/bosch_platin_web.jpg
Cordell
I run a .030 gape to be safe with spray, boost should be similar. The plugs Jones posted may be good, but the 4 prong shit Bosch makes is bullshit. I wouldn't use anything but a NGK, or ACDelco.

Yeah, I'm not advocating using the plat 4 prongs, especialing on spray or boost, that is suicide. The side fire's are being used on high hp, 30psi+ cars, and holding spark where other's weren't able to.
TurboRust
wasnt aware of that plug, Mr Jones.. i'd think and ngk or autolite copper could do you wonders.. keep gap close, like .

6 Speed S4
I found some for 68.00 shipped online for 6 of them, but I'm also looking at some NGK one step colder plug than stock and they are 49.00 shipped. hmmmm.

ansonivan
Just here to ad another +1 about not using the bosch +4 plugs, they've been nothing but misfire code throwing garbage especially on m/s/50/52 engines.
Benner
We use to take bets at byers whether a car throwing random missfires was using the Bosch +4's all the time. Usually they were.
CRed05
Sidefires here...no gape. B5 S4's like to miss at idle, sidefires took care of it.

Berto
NGK = FTW Bosch = FTL Don't gap iridium plugs.
CRed05
You have to gap irridiums just like any other plug...it's just harder cause the tip breaks easier.
Patterson
Stock is listed as .028-.032. for N/A cars. Set them in the tight side, and see what it does.
CRed05
Oh and WTF is the point of the +4's, it will only jump to whichever tip is closer. Gimmick if you ask me.
