evan9381 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Share Posted April 2, 2011 another consumer report stemming from the break in...today i started to install my old car stereo ive had up in my closet for ~4 years...i realized that the metal "cage" type thing that goes around the unit and clips into the mounting kit is gone...i have no idea where it would have been, as i couldnt even see myself taking it off the stereo. so i run down the road to CCA, tell him of the part im looking for (thinking they wouldnt have it), he said they can order it, then says he might have one...he goes over to a room off the side of the showroom, picks one up, and said i should be able to get it to fit. $10. went over to the counter, he looked at it, and said "you know what, just take it". like yesterday i was stunned again, asked him if he was sure, and he said yeah. i think it was gonna get pitched, but either way, they helped me out with a part i didnt think they'd even have. thanks again CCA!
