Head spring question

The springs on a set of heads are good to .475 lift. The cam exhaust is .477 with 1.5 rockers. The heads are from a roller cam. The new cam is a flat tappet. Rockers will be stock 350 vortec rockers. Will the springs hold?

Get the springs the cam calls for.

What's the part number on the spring? If installed pressure at installed height is 95-115lbs, and 230ish open (full lift) you'll be fine, but check retainer-stud boss clearance to make sure there is sufficient clearance with the valve seal installed. You may want to go to a long slot rocker. Small block rockers can run into a bind situation up around .480 range as well.
