So my 4 year old son pushed my 2 year old son into the vertical tile that surrounds the whirlpool tub tonight, gashing open his head, right under his eyebrows.

Off to the urgent care, 2 stitches later, good to go.

Little man handled it all better than most adults I know. His only concern?... that his big brother got sent to his room.

Boys will be boys, this stuff happened a few times with my little brother and me growing up. I watched my brother who was about 5-6 at the time get 5 stiches in the back of his head, and he took it like a man. I also broke his foot, finger, and foot agian when we were growing up, I guess that explains some of his hostility toward me now.

I think they named a wing after me at St Ann's when I was a kid because of all the time I spent there. Growing up on 60 acres with fields, woods, creeks, ravines, farm equipment, horses, cows etc, I was always getting hurt.

Accidents happen, luckily that's only resulted in one hospital trip around here, and it's because of jumping on the bed.. He learned why parents tell you not to. He wasn't paying attention and jumped half off the bed lost his balance and split his head open.. 3 stitches later he was just fine and he won't think about jumping on the bed.
