2005 Kenne Bell Supercharged Mustang GT

We recently had one of our customers bring us his 05 Mustang GT for some work. His primary goal was to clean the engine compartment up a bit as well as make the car sound a little bit better. He had previously installed the Kenne Bell stage 1 kit on his car along with a set of Magnaflow muffler delete pipes. To improve the sound, he chose to add a set of the Ford Racing Hot Rod cams and then we made a custom intake tube, added a larger heat exchanger and did a quick retune.

We started out with a couple of 4" mandrel bends and tacked them together to get the shape we were after.

Once the pipe was welded together, the welds were ground smooth to give a 1 piece look.

A new maf flange was tig welded in place as well.

After the pipe was complete everything was done in a semigloss black to blend in under the hood a bit better and some of the engine wiring was cleaned up.

We also added a much larger heat exchanger with dual fans to help keep the intake air temps in check.
