AWW$HEEET
maybe i am a dummy for asking this, but how do you rev limit a carbed, non computer managed engine? foot control and thats it?
twistedfocus1647545489
Ignition-based rev-limiters. They range from simple single purpose devices: http://www.jegs.com/i/Procomp-Motorsport/746/2031/10002/-1?parentProductId=1611661 To full ignition boxes plus the rev-control feature, like the MSD 6AL, etc (hundreds of options here). http://www.jegs.com/i/MSD+Ignition/121/6425/10002/-

Nickey4271647545519
Or even something like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PNX-D7100700/ ^awesome dizzy btw, it does multispark through the entire RPM range and has a built in rev limiter that you set with a 9volt battery. clone
I have a MSD Digital 6 box with the 2 step tied to the transbrake button.I used to run the MSD 6 analog box but it needed a second box and RPM modules to set the limits. At that time I didn't have a transbrake so I triggered off the footbrake brake lite switch. The digital box has dials to adjust the RPM limits which is much better.
