mrblunt
I've seen a few corvettes with two thick stripes on the front fenders. Is this a special edition thing or after market? I recently saw a white one with silver stripes and thought it looked pretty nice. I wanted to do a little digging into it via the interwebs and was hoping someone might know if it is a limited edition thing. Thanks. Clifford Automotive
It was on the Grand Sports stock. Most of the time when you see it, its aftermarket. http://www.planetlsx.com/images/articles/lg_thumbs/58-1.jpg
mustang302
They are available on the grand sports from the factory I believe. Its called the Grand Sport Heritage Package. Im sure you could get them aftermarket though.
Skinner
they could be Ron Fellows Editions. http://www.corvettefever.com/featuredvehicles/corp_0705_ron_fellows_corvette_z06/index.html

I saw a white z06 with platinum or silver striping like that and it looked HOT. Wondering what my G would like like with similar striping. Someone should photochop that together for me
Not Brian
They're for racing so your pit crew can identify your car, and yellow ones were used to identify novice racers. I think they still use yellow stripes for SCCA, but they're on the trunk? Anyways, the ones put on street cars should be called poser stripes. Have fun with your poser stripes. Not Brian
I tried selling my car to Jones, he said he wouldn't test drive anything without that sticker on it. Now I can't get the fucking thing off

I have seriously thought about removing these since I bought the car,but most everyone who has seen them has said they would leave them on. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/000_1519.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/000_1517.jpg
sol740
I don't care for them personally, but to each their own.
Kohones
As posted earlier, they are a pkg available from GM. With the right color scheme, I think they look ok -

mrblunt
Of course stickers add horsepower. Everyone knows this! The same day that I saw the z06 I saw a really badass srt8 challenger that was white with black chrome rims and had the same style of fender stripes. I gotta say I think they look sharp. If I become a poser I'll toss some pics up. Thanks for helping identify the vet. White with the maroon is exactly the one I remember seeing at IPS. I think someone said it was Cavins but dont know for sure if they were correct.
Got-Boost?
Depends on the car but most look great. Then again, if it wasn't OEM I wouldn't add it....

2 Sweet
Not my cup of tea, but they look ok on some certain Corvettes. I just hate it when people with Grand Prixs and Cobalts and shit put them on their cars. Gayyyyy
