Farkas
In the past I've been ordering jets online and waiting to have them shipped. Anyone know any local places that stock a selection of jets, venturis and etc. that I can pick up? This would make things hell of a lot easier for me. Thanks! Crossle
Could also try mid-state auto parts 888-3838 open today till noon (saturday). Closed Sunday.
Toyotahead
I've been ordering through Carburetion.com a ton lately. They ship quick as hell (usually 3 days after processing), and they've got lots of good prices. Just an idea if you're unable to find any locals. There's an offroad shop in Cincinnati, up off of Rt. 4, but that won't help you either. Other than that I got nuthin man.
zeitgeist57
Maybe try a VW shop? Someplace that works on old air-cooled Bugs and whatnot... http://www.motorkars.com/

Clicky They are sold under the inglese name- which intern is part of the Comp Cams group. So go to summit. Find what you need and transfer the PN to jegs site to make sure they have it. http://www.summitracing.com/search/Part-Type/Carburetor-Jets/Brand/Inglese/?keyword=jets
Nickey4271647545519
Infact, here are the jets you are looking for. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/IGS-NG1551/ http://www.jegs.com/i/Comp+Cams/249/NG1551/10002/-1 And I'd ask them to price match summit lol. Farkas
Hmmm... I wonder if they allow local pick-up? I don't get why they would put it under Inglese/Comp cams group, but whatever. Looks like I'll be giving them a call, thanks!
Farkas
Negative... still have to wait to get them from their supplier. I'm just going to order online from weberjets.com... $5.50 a piece and next day shipping.
Crossle
Huh, I'll have a talk with Bill. Of course Porsche used webers more often than VW did.
Crossle
I will see if we have any lying around the shop tomorrow.
Farkas
I will see if we have any lying around the shop tomorrow. Thanks... I'm specifically looking for some 40 pump jets right now for the 45DCOEs.
10phone2
I would check with cbperformance or go to the http://www.cal-look.com forums and ask around there. The cal-look forums is one of the best old-school vw sites to blow time in.
Crossle
Well, we have some lying around but they are everywhere lol. Also they would have been ordered for VW Buses which would not have had 45DCOE's.
