03 Evo 8 - needs engine rebuild

$10,500. I am looking at trades plus cash. Not buying anything that is straight trade or putting cash on my end.

 

2003 Mitsubishi Evolution 8, 110k miles on body. Engine had about 40k on it and has a built head with valvesprings, retainers, and GSC 272/264 cams. Transmission is a Buschur built one and has about 15k on rebuild. Transfercase is a John Shep stg 2 with only about 10k on it. Rear diff has been replaced as well with about the same mileage as the transfercase. Other mods include full 3inch exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, tuned, lower intercooler pipe, MR Metal BOV, Cone filter intake, AEM Truboost controller, painted engine bay, red tinted taillights, painted headlights, Swift lowering springs. There is no A/C in the car currently, but could be reinstalled easily. Sunroof needs to be reinitialized and is not working correctly at this time. Not really in need of selling, but have a few other things I could do with not having a car payment.

 

Now on to the bad. The oil pump seized about two weeks ago taking the timing belt with it. Pulling the head off today to see if valves got bent. Plan for an engine rebuild to be safe. It has new ITP SS wheels (guaranteed against bends or breaks)

New terra cross tires

All metal (ie racks, bumpers) freshly Rhino lined

Monster graphics kit

and only 1500 miles

Depends on the route you want to go but not much at all I wish I had the spare cash to buld a full scale monster Evo. GLWS

parts cost would be around $800. The labor will depend on how much you can do your self.
