Well,

 

I've decided to get back into it. I found a good platform car. I'm excited to get going with it.

 

In its current state, it needs love.

 

 

The car already has:

redtop sr20

front mount

tail 50mm bov

megan mani.

walbro 255

boost cont.

mines tuned ecu

act 2600

act stage2 clutch

3" turbo back

kei office coil overs

tein pillowballs

full energy poly bushings

adj. RUCA

kazama subframe spacers

f&r strut bars

5-lug swap

300zx brake swap

Carbon fiber hood

t28 turbo/ ball bearing

550 rc injectors

XS fuel rail

s14 oil pick up

traction rods

5% widow tint

HKS turbo timer

innovate wideband

autometer boost gauge

brand new clutch master and slave

welded diff

15k HID

 

 

The build plans are:

Going through the engine bay. Cleanup, straightening out.

Oil Catch can install

New Wheels/tires

Aero of some sort, not too crazy.

Steering wheel, hub, and quick release

SR radiator and hoses

New intercooler piping

Brake rotors, current ones are warped.

Roof wing install

Racing Seat, kirkey

Back half Roll Cage

New spring for Tial BOV

Straighten out intercooler (tabs, mounting, etc)

Rewrap wires

Mount boost controller

Fix gauge pods

Clean up turbo timer

Re-pull/Roll Fenders

Repaint the fucking thing

 

Fenders will be pulled tomorrow, catch can install this weekend, and lowered 1 inch in the rear. Car needs help. first little project is tonight.

First project was a quick fix to the rattling turbo timer that was "carved" into the door panel.... until i get a new panel.... here's what i got.

kinda ghetto fab. turned out ok... and it functions, its holds the turbo timer steady.

They just cut a hole and stuck it there? Lawds.

"Hey. this looks like a great place to put the turbo timer!!!!. Lets cut a hole!!!"

 

 

More like, lets go on zilvia.net and see what others do... There are so many good places to put the HKS turbo timer... the door panel not being one of them.

Just cover your newly made panel with carbon fiber wrap for now.

 

Really wouldn't be a bad idea and it wouldn't look half bad or to expensive. Cue sponser? I know someone was doing it...

yep, puleld the trigger. Glad i did. I looked at a few. OD is starting to come alive again

Word up, it was actually a collaboration of two shops, might have been the problem). I didnt know you were on here, bored at OD? I'm back on there again.

 

I have to say. I stopped at IPS last night. They seem to have their shit together. I'm going to have them do a couple little things to the car next week (until i can get tools to our garage space downtown). But yeah, IPS impressed me.
