Any local car auctions this week open to the public, or someone a dealer that can get me into one. Needs to be this week as I need a car by saturday. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Art ("Archie") has a 96 Ford Contour with blown head gasket that he would sell for a good price. Also, only has 90k on it.

If nothing comes up, I may have to try there. Any way to get a list of whats going to be up for auction?

Nah they have no list but thre is usually about 110 cars there and they start bid at scrap price. Some go for scrap price and they aren't bad cars just need tires or some little thing

I have been to a couple dozen impound auctions and bought 9 cars at the last one I went to( all junk). I stopped going about the time all the cab drivers starting showing up trying to turn everything into a cab and bidding up the cars alot more than they were worth.

Sometimes good finds. I've bought 4-5 cars there for other people or resale. Usually all need a little bit of minor work (tires, tune up, ect).

Went to 2 and I swear just like the impound auctions, ever foreign guy who owns a corner car lot was there doubling the prices.

They are getting so few cars now they have gone to every other weekend. I think this weekend is an auction, but yes, every little lot owner and curbstoner is there trying to get something to flip.
