The_buster
Preferably a 240 but maybe an fc rx7. I'm trying to trade a 351 windsor for one.

Mojoe
I hope this stays on topic for this guy. Drifting talk has not gone well on CR in the past. It's his interest, let him explore it. Were you wanting to keep a rotary in a FC, or go pistons?
Flybye
There are a few drifters on here that would be glad to help you. I will admit that I am not the most experiened. Although I have had a couple 240's and other cars that I have put a beating on. I have been following the sport for quite a few years, but more recently started to put most of my spare time and money into it. When it comes to track experience I am not the one to talk to. Most of my seat time has been in parking lots or "the street". I also have a few bad habits from my past in grip driving that I've been gradually working on. So with that being said I can help, but I know a few others that could probably offer more knowledge than myself. I have been told that FC's are a little hard to learn in. I've played around in a friends a few times and entries felt great, but I just could get the transfer down.
Diamonds
Once you get a car I can help you with some basics. I will also ask my friend who owns a shop if it's cool to have you over when I practice on his skidpad. You can sit passenger. And learn
The_buster
S15 that would be awesome! As far as time frame I wouldn't be getting a car til after tax return. In the meantime I was hoping to price things and have been watching this drift bible thing on youtube. Living in newark there's no legal place to practice, but I have talked go a few cops and they said if I got written permission from the mall it would be ok to use they're spare parkinglot. The_buster
As for the motor in the fc.. ill probably keep it rotory, unless I break it...lol I do have a windsor motor but I'm trying to trade it for the fc. There's one on cl for 300, just needs suspension radiator, and a battery to run it says..
Mojoe
Can it be done with a rotary? Absolutely, and it has been. Torque is not a rotary's friend and I believe it's a great factor in drifting? Can anyone add input to this?
Diamonds
Limited slip diff is the greatest factor in drifting ( mine is welded), then speed (which kind of means power).

Flybye
What would it Take to get into Drifting if one wanted to? I live very near Kilkare. A worthy car, suspension (coilovers), good LSD or welded diff, working ebrake and strong clutch.

SRTurbo04
The car would be a dd for me. that just sounds like the dumbest idea ever.. your going to dd a car that your going to slide around walls and very easily crash into the walls... yea sounds like a real great idea for a daily driver :jerkit:
