nurkvinny
I had looked for a 3rd-row Tahoe for months. Never quite found what I wanted. Settled on a 2-row. Did a lot of reading, and people were 50/50 whether you could easily/safely add a 3rd row. Pulling up the rear carpet showed this: http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/nurkvinnyz06/DSCN5218.jpg Under each of those gray squares is a threaded, from-the-factory hole: http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/nurkvinnyz06/DSCN5219.jpg After scraping all of them out: http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/nurkvinnyz06/DSCN5220.jpg Cut pad and carpet in needed places; install this kit in the correct holes: http://i.ebayimg.com/15/%21Byz-TgQ%212k~$%28KGrHqF,%21iMEw5heruEBBMTP1Oz5W%21~~_35.JPG Buy used seats from CL, score. (Ebay pic) http://accessabledesigns.com/ricky/Installed_Brackets.JPG I got mint, color-correct leather seats for $200 from CL. The kit was just over $100. Well worth it. If any of you are searching for a 3rd-row vehicle, this may be an option. I also scored a rear carpeted mat, so when the seats are out, I can put the mat in, covering the brackets. Looks nice and completes the clean install. Kids won't ram their knees into the brackets either. TTQ B4U
Nice job. Now cut your balls off before you need more seats in that thing. Off to go mess with my wife's carpet and find some holes of my own.......
Fiji ST
That's impressive. I wouldn't even think of how easy it would be to add the third row in.

Rocky31186
How much leg room does that leave if a kid were to sit in the 3rd row? Seems all the 3rd row trucks I've seen other than suburbans, excursions, etc.

nurkvinny
02. Only downside is that god-awful-boring GM pewter color.
John Bruh
02. Only downside is that god-awful-boring GM pewter color. yeah so bland, and the thick ass carpet they used for a few years that fades (idk if it was 02, but i know 99-01). decent deal though :megusta:
