zeitgeist57
Downloaded it and watched it again. I forgot how great the cinematography was, the soundtrack, and the locations...made me miss South Florida! Colin Farrell amd Jamie Foxx were great as well. Slow in some points to let you get drawn into the movie a bit more. Definitely worth the watch if you haven't seen it yet...
Bigbird
I feel like it gets a bad rep from a lot of people, but I really enjoyed it. It was one of (if not the) first movies filmed in HD. So definitely check it out on Blu-Ray if you get the chance.

TTQ B4U
Clay, you're having one of my major 80's flashbacks man. I think you're a few years younger than me but growing up as a teenager in the early to mid 80's was a blast. Especially now that everything retro is from then. Cordell
The movie isn't that good, nice scenery, nice cars, but a lack of the character from the original shows.
bicranium
Too young to have seen the TV show, saw the movie in theaters and enjoyed it. Think it closes with "Auto Rock" by Mogwai which is an awesome song.
Aaron
It was one of (if not the) first movies filmed in HD. This isn't remotely true.
Bigbird
This isn't remotely true. Meh, it was something I read online a long time ago. Oh well haha.
bicranium
This isn't remotely true. Actually it is. Mann used HD cameras for the first time in a major motion picture when he made Collateral then used the same cameras for Miami Vice. There isn't a lot out there shot with HD cameras actually because standard film still holds a higher resolution in almost all cases.
Aaron
If you are referring to actual hd film and cameras, I can't speak to that. I thought he was saying it was the first film to be shot in a clarity high enough to be called hd, or blu ray.
