Rice Eater
I'm working on my dads 2005 Ford Freestar van 4.2L. I need to know where the fuel pressure test port is located on this van. I don't see it on the fuel rail like I would expect. There is a sort of stem coming off the rail on the front side below the EGR valve that has a mushroom shaped metal top on it, the top will turn but doesn't unscrew. I'm wondering if this covers the test port/shrader valve, and do you need one of the clamshell looking disconnect tools(which I don't have) to remove the cap? I have looked in a repair manual, done web search and used the repair giude on Autozones site, it appears in pics but is not identified. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cordell
Not sure what you are refering to, maybe you can take a pic? Some cars don't have test ports, just FYI.
