picked up 2 new and hard to find handguns this week. A M&P Shield in 9mm for me and a Ruger SR22P for the fiancée.

 

They are about the same size, both would be a CCW, but the trouble is finding holsters for them.

Because a revolver can still be a pistol. Pistol and handguns usage are pretty much interchangeable. If you want to get technical, have the mods change it to official handgun thread.

to be honest i don't really know what the hell it is, but pretty sure it's not dipped. i've had this gun for 7yrs(bought it new at a gun shop off base), never seen another one like it. tried googling it, showed some dip jobs but nothing looked like this one...searched glocks inventory on their website, been to gun shows/expos, nothing there either.

*correction. i've seen one just like it 1 time in a movie. if you've ever seen Faster, it showed the bad guy cleaning an identical one in 1 scene...but that's it.

He found it. Still haven't seen another one like it except for that movie. Apparently you can get your slide done too for an extra $100. Good find jelloman.
