DaddyBuiltRacing
I've been looking on craigslist and haven't had much luck finding one for under $4000. Is this going to be the normal price I should expect to look at paying or is there places that sell these things used for less. I don't need the prettiest looking thing as it'll be getting wrapped. Links and phone numbers to places is greatly appriciated. I should mention I am only looking for 20-24ft trailers. I dont need a 40ft monster lol
craig71188
This time of year they are likely to be a bit more expensive (everybody is shopping for the season). I was considering one in the same size last fall. You could find them for $3000 - $3500, sometimes a bit less for rough and no ramp door (bring your own ramps). If you haven't used Searchtempest.com, try that and search the surrounding areas as well. Some of the better deals I found were more rural. RS69
I bought my featherlite at Rock's. They stock many types and brands of trailers.
Crossle
+1 for Rock's if you are interested in going new.
Alex L.
Buy a 40ft and I'll trade you my 20ft for it.
AWW$HEEET
I saw one sitting in front of madhatter the other day. Plus they do good work.
DaddyBuiltRacing
Yeah Alex, I will get right on that lol. I found one in Hebron, 16ft covered with Hair of the dog stickers, people want 6500 lol. I was hoping more like 2000 for it
Alex L.
20ft's about the bare minimum for a race trailer. With the car loaded, I'll have just enough room to put my toolbox and wheels/tires up front.
DaddyBuiltRacing
Yeah thats why I want either a 20-24ft, but if the 16ft was a good enough price it would've been considered for now.
POS VETT
What are you planning to haul ?
Jeff88coupe
If your willing to drive to the factory to pickup a new one you can save a good bit of $. Check out hurricane cargo. I just bought a 24' V-nose pretty much all decked out racer package last week for $8200....the bare bones car hauler version was about $4800.
