Can't wait to shoot it.
Squidward
I've got one, fun as hell to shoot and are great if you get stuck in a boat with no paddles

gillbot
Why all the hate on corrosive ammo on these? I mean, that's all they used to shoot in them. I just don't see the big deal if you take the time to clean and maintain it.

gillbot
Is there really a need to take a cleaning kit to the range? I mean, I get that it's corrosive but many recommend taking a cleaning kit to the range. Are they just being over zealous?
Avenger1647545502
Overzealous is exactly the word. Clean it when you get home. Heck, even a couple days later will be okay, as long as it isn't stored somewhere humid.
gillbot
That was my thought, just wanted to hear what others thought as well.

jjjxlr8
Nice rifle! What is the year of manufacture? Do you have any pictures of the markings on the top of the barrel?

I think it's 1942, i'll snap one of it later though.
unfunnyryan
Nice laminated stock. As for cleaning, I just pour water down the barrel then shove a few patches, then some oily patches. Spray oil all over bolt. Takes 2 minutes in the field, and if I want, I'll clean more later.

unfunnyryan
You could buy a new bolt for your mosin for the price of the snap caps.
