oh8sti
I was working on packing at my parents house when i heard a weird noise so i walked out of the garage to see what seemed like a billion bees. So i grab what ever camera i could find and snapped a few pictures. I have no idea how to use this camera, so please, dont tell me how bad they are or whatever. Im not even sure i had the right lens on it. On to the pics... Here they are landed on a branch and have started to form something. http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3820.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3825.jpg Here they are forming what seems to be a hive?? http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3830.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3831.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3832.jpg And here are some of my bully Kimber and here playmates Penny and Boo. http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3839.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3856.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3868.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3899.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3902.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3915.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/IMG_3917.jpg

oh8sti
The problem is the tree they are on is 200 years old and I don't think my parents want it all burned to fuck. Also, keep in mind it's hard to tell from the pics just how big the hive is. I bet it's the size of 3 basketballs, maybe 4. It's huge. TTQ B4U
You don't want to kill honey bees. Just call a bee keeper. I bet they come running to get them.
zeitgeist57
NO!!! Those are honeybees. Let them live or call OSU to get a beekeeper out there. They are likely protecting their queen as they establish a new hive. SERIOUSLY...PLEASE CALL SOMEONE TO SAVE DA BEES. CCD's a bitch. http://www.beeremovalsource.com/bee-removal-list/ohio/

Rocky31186
Thats a good lookin dog! My mom had the same issue in her tree about 8 years ago. We called the bee people and they came out and took them all away.. There were ALOT more than they thought though. Because there is a hole in the tree there (Squirrels used to live in it) And probably 4 ft long inside the tree, 8" diameter. Im not going to lie.. Young and Dumb I shot paint balls at the center... They got pissed.. :dumb: http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/bees.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/bees2.jpg
