accel_is_my_drug
I have a beat up old mid 90's integra that i will be getting rid of as soon as the company car arrives. Right now it has 237,000 miles on it and needs some work. She burns a little oil, and leaks a few drops on the exhaust. Most noticeable is that it needs CV boots/ joints on both sides up front. I priced out parts on rockauto.com and can replace the entire axle assy and both wheel bearings on the front for about 250bucks after shipping.. My dilemma is this. Do I sell the car as is, and accept a bit less for it, or do I replace axles and wheel bearing and hope that I get more for the car than parts cost that I put it to it?? Rustlestiltskin
If the amount of dollars you'll recieve is greater then the effort you would have to put into fixing it, then go for it and fix it.
Not Brian
Doesn't sound even close to being worth the trouble.
Patterson
Fix it and sell it to Jizzro. Or Let it go for 500.00 and let the new owners worry about it. Edited May 4, 2012 by Patterson
