Busted out the EZ UP so the front of the car could sit on the driveway without too much sun but still there was daylight; my garage is kinda dark and too cluttered. The bumper is covered in almost one piece if it wasn't for the lip in the bottom. Headlights are covered in one piece each. The windshield frame is in 3 pieces; there is no need to waste so much material. The wing mirrors are also in 3 pieces to ensure more coverage. Additional pieces are for the pockets of the exterior door handles. I've seen some pretty old stuff that's dulled due to lack of care, but our old 2003 minivan is still in the family and never ever cared for and the bra on it looks brand new. The one on the Z06 (VentureShield installed by AAP) has so much smearing and streaking from cones at an autox and it will continue to get beat up. So, yes, it's tough and holds up just fine against mere washing/dust/daily wear. The film used on the B302 and on the Solstice is 3M. This is the film Julius uses nowadays. The pieces on the Z06 are never waxed/corrected and I believe they are not supposed to be buffed. The 3M film can probably be waxed, but then again I couldn't care any less.
