ls1 drivability issue.... need help... car has 28 psi

Only reading 28 pounds on a pressure gauge how do I make sure its the pump

If you have a fuel filter, disconnect and check fuel pressure before filter... Could be clogged.

2 week old filter.... not to say that still could be it though

make sure there are no leaks or anything also. some people have had in-tank leaks after a replacement or swap.

Just pulled the pump and I think I found a problem. There fuel line from the pump to the module assembly is real soft pulled right off the pump

There was a ring holding the check valve in place also but it was sucked up into the hose

That fixed it new hose and stuck the check valve back together crimped the ring back on. I think they had the hose clamp in a spot that knocked the ring off. Probably won't start hard anymore either. either

I'm glad I didn't need a pump. And found out it had a walbro in it
