Better than 4, that's for sure. The sheer number of GoPros used is pretty crazy. I wonder if that one grey wheel is on purpose, or due to a "oops" in practice.

As for Block.. My opinion is that he isn't the best driver out there. Give me a car like that I can throw away and some time and I'll do the same stuff he does. That said, he has single-handedly done more to promote rally and motorsports of this style to young people than anyone else has in a VERY long time. Motorsports participants are aging overall, and young blood is always in short supply. Just go to an AutoX and see how much grey hair is out there. But I've seen more people raise their hands as first-time attendees at driver's meetings the last few years and I'll wager a good percentage of them saw these videos and were encouraged to do something FUN with their cars.

Is Block a show-off and attention-hog? Yes. Is he a world-class driver? Not really. But is he a good thing for the sport overall? Yes.

Couldn't have said it in a less-bias way had I done it myself.

wow

that was wild...the sideways jump was just plain wild

I loved it

couple of observations:

3:35 --->LOL fallen go-pro

9:23---> E36 on the bridge :fuckyeah:

I'm not sure how he'll escalate this for G6. I think it'll likely be overseas.

he's done that already when he visited the south of FRA... Gymkhana 3, part 2

I like it and it's enhanced by him being an attention hog and center of attention. When you can drive like that and produce shit like that yoiu have a right to be bad ass and let the those that snipe just speak words that don't mean shit until they one up you at the game you started (these videos and marketing of the sport)

Like draco said, he draws attention to it all and in reality that's worth more than the skills he has as a driver.

I like this one better than 4 but for some reason I like his WRX work better. Cool seeing Ford in the mix, but I just prefer the Subaru mixes.

Maybe I will watch it when I get home. Is it any different than the first 4? I stopped watching them when they made the one that was (only) a giant commercial for DC shoes with very little driving. I didn't stop watching them in protest or because my jimmies were rustled, they simply lost my interest.

Dat sound.

I miss that GD. The GR is just big and bulky looking. But at least you can get the Subarus with AWD and Turbo engines. The rally Fiesta is just another fake racecar like the NASCAR Taurus.

The Segway in that one is also best rolling donut he's ever done. All the later ones have been slow and yawn-worthy. The Trolleys weren't anywhere near as good.

There's only shots of the products during the end credits. Tons of driving in this one and less Jack-Assery. Its closer to the earlier ones.
