Aaron
I could think of a dozen other cars I'd rather have for the total price car+turbo. You say this about almost any car over 20k... The power increase is certainly sizable, and with its good handling, it should be a hoot.

twistedfocus1647545489
WRX = a married guy w/ fuck trophies 300hp BRZ = me So I'll admit I skimmed some posts, but my car on ~7lbs of boost makes over 425 RWHP. It's around 3000 lbs, maybe slightly less. What does this BRZ do? Just saying. Go 80s! :gabe: P.S. Obvious Trolling. I realize the idea behind the car. Just giving the OP shit. Granted, it will handle no where near the same as it sits. But for the difference in price...

FourString
I bet it's far more fun to drive with the turbo. Has anyone swapped one of these cars yet?
Rustlestiltskin
So a turbo'd brz compares to a STOCK mustang gt 5.0. LOL
thorne
I'd push 330-350 whp on e85 on stock motor just to see what happens. My EJ22e(STOCK NA) held up like a champ making 370 before she broke
Draco-REX
With Boost, why not open up that HIGHLY RESTRICTIVE exhaust as well?? KillJoy I think because AP hasn't made a header yet. They're developing the tune to go with the kit. Also, from what I'm told, the stock cat is actually not as bad as some.. I bet it's far more fun to drive with the turbo. Has anyone swapped one of these cars yet? There have been a couple EJ swaps, a few 2JZ swaps, and one swap of the V8 from the IS-F. So a turbo'd brz compares to a STOCK mustang gt 5.0. LOL In a straight line, yes. Regardless, it's cool seeing what AP is doing in unknown territory. It's a brand new block, with a fueling system unlike any other, with a unique ECU running it all. Draco-REX
Last update is 281hp 220tq. There's some uncertainty if they're still at 6psi or if they're up at 8psi. According to Don, this is purely development of the "stock" turbo kit. The cold-air version of the intake and other exhaust mods are not on the car. So there may well be more hp to be found. And this is with a 100% stock engine and fuel system. Just the kit and a tune.

Draco-REX
Hardly....just curious if this is a $3-6k kit or a $8k+ kit... :lolguy: $5K price for the list of parts earlier in the thread, plus labor and a tune. You can tack another $600 on if you want a ECUTek cable to be able to backup/flash/unflash your ECU yourself afterwards. So total should be around $6K or so. Last update I can see in the thread: The 281whp pull was at 8psi. Don believes with a freer flowing exhaust 300whp is possible on the stock engine/injectors using pump gas. They haven't touched alcohol yet.
Alex L.
Draco, I commend your efforts. I guess 100hp gains at low boost on a brand new, high compression platform just aren't good enough for some of you. Might be time to take a step back and realize exactly what you're posting.
