unfunnyryan
Bills gamblin hall is cool but I swear the craps tables are rigged there. O'shays, if its still around (next to flamingo) is one of the best little places to visit. Best live music, by far.

NitrousSam
I just got back from Vegas on Sunday and we had an amazing time. You can have a blast in Vegas on a budget if you do some planning. Try to minimize your cab rides because cab rides can really add up in Vegas. When taking cabs at night try to avoid the strip because if you get stuck on the strip the meter is still running. You may find the cab driver driving directly behind the strip and it might be a slightly longer distance but it usually is cheaper based on the meter compared to strictly time. I will NEVER let a cab driver take us through the Interstate 215 tunnel because this is generally a sign that they are running you up. The Deuce is a good recommendation providing you do not have to be anywhere quick...The Deuce stops constantly for pick ups and letting folks off the bus. If you are in a hurry I would skip the Deuce but if you are wanting to see the some sites on a budget the Deuce is pretty cool. As previously stated, check out the Bellagio water show, the Bellagio Garden which is directly inside the front entrance behind the lobby. There is a tram between Mirage and Treasure Island which is handy during the day especially in the 110+ heat. Venetian is amazing inside, walk through "Lik" studio if you are a fan of gorgeous landscape photography. The Hard Rock Hotel is NOT on the strip but if you want to see some cool rock displays it is a very neat place. When you take a cab out of the Hard Rock Hotel, don't leave using the front entrance and instead go out the new section in the back and you will be skip the long cab line and it is slightly closer to the strip so you might save a buck on your trip back to the strip. The breakfast buffet at Planet Hollywood is outstanding and if you arrive about 9:30 to 10 a.m. after a night of crazy fun you will also have access to lunch food as well as breakfast for a lower price. If you are planning on hitting the Beatles "Love Show" you want to be around section 209 row M or N. Closer to the stage SUCKS and you will miss most of the show and think of it as sitting in the front row of an IMAX theatre...my nect hurts just thinking about it. Have a fantastic time! nurkvinny
Crazy Horse at MGM. Zumanity. Do your hard drinking BEFORE the last night, else the flight back is a bitch. DO check out the pools. DO splurge on a big ticket meal one night. The indoor thunderstorms in Planet Hollywood are honestly cool as Hell. Pass on the M&M store. Pass on Hard Rock. Nathans hot dogs 24hrs inside MGM. More later.

Akula
I go to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year. We have lots of conferences there. If you aren't going to have lots of money to blow, you can have a great time. Walk around to all the casinos. Fremont is fun, watch for pick-pockets. Get out and see The Palms and Rio, take in a show. Penn and Teller is really good. If you have loads of cash, rent a really fast car. Basically you have to see what you like to do there. I will just say if you are into the club scene, or want to be a true savage, shoot me a PM and I will get you in touch with the right people. Since your going with your girl though, I dont think you are going to be on my level. Vegas is whatever you want it to be. The best shows, the best whores, the most fast money you could ever ask for. As long as you are having fun, you are doing it right. And LOL that someone actually stayed at Bill's Gambling Hall. That place needs to be condemned! starkmaster03
Well we left last Monday afternoon and got back late Friday night. We had a blast in the 5 days that we were there. We went on a Grand Canyon tour and a Hoover Dam tour both of which we got about half off by planning ahead. We ended up not getting a car and switching hotels at the last minute because Southwest messed up our reservations. We stayed at Excaliber which we both thought was great for the price and location. We had dinners at the Rainforest (would not recommend), Voodoo (50th floor view was nice but the food could have been better), Senior Frogs (good food and price) and Stratosphere (great food and would recommend). We also visited the Mars factory, wax museum, shark exhibit and saw the Chris Angels show. We took a gondola ride at the Venetian, watched the fountains at Belligio, watched the show at Treasure Island and the volcano at the Mirage. We visited Ceasar Palace, MGM, NYNY, Rio, Luxor. We went downtown to Fremont and Zip-lined down the street. We also spent a little time at the pool and gambled here and there. Overall it was a great trip packed into only 5 days yet it felt like there was so much that we missed. I would definitely be up for going back. Thanks to everyone for there suggestions and tips.
