Littleguy
Looks like RT-615K's tires. Just put a set on the DD and I'm liking them so far, probably helps it to hook up a little. Good eyes sir. They are great handling wise, but they don't really put down the power in first or second.
Littleguy
any plans on modifications to the engine down the road? I'm going to do some work on the exhaust, an electric cutout and different muffler, but other than that I want to learn to drive it better first. Maybe a cam or something down the road, but it's plenty fast without it.

Littleguy
Wow, VERY clean car! And, it's got an LS swap Bet that thing really moves out--have any idea what the weight is now? The LS1 is about 50lbs heavier than the original engine, so it's still very light.
jbeane
The LS1 is about 50lbs heavier than the original engine, so it's still very light. when dee did his swap, his car was a factory twin turbo, and the ls1, was actually lighter than the rotary and turbos. Macs98Z
The LS1 is about 50lbs heavier than the original engine, so it's still very light. Wow, I can't imagine having the LS1 in a car 700 pounds lighter than my Camaro.
Mr. Jones
Wow, I can't imagine having the LS1 in a car 700 pounds lighter than my Camaro. Yeah, FD's are usually around mid 2800's IIRC so prob 2900 or less depending. Weight hurts everything, so the less the better! :megusta:
Littleguy
Here's a couple of shots I took this evening, I just wish I could remove all of the power lines. http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_1531small.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_1529small.jpg Btw, for Jones, according to most of the people with the swap the LS1 actually weighs about the same as the 13B with the turbo and all of the plumbing. Ergo "or less". I'd never own anything with a rotary. Such a great car!
