Das Borgen
I supposed this is related enough to cars. Local of Columbus, Scott Good, just released his 1st book. I know him through the National Auto Sport Association and he's a amateur road racer there. He's actually NASA's national German Touring Series (GTS) race director and 2-time National Champ in the GTS-2 category. I went to his book signing today in UA close by Giant Eagle Market District and I started reading it. I'm about 100 pages in already and it's pretty good reading so far. http://www.amazon.com/Loss-Control-Volume-Scott-Good/dp/1479326178 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51Z-T-BIdxL._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-click,TopRight,35,-76_AA300_SH20_OU01_.jpg Jake Berwyn is an amateur racing driver who blames himself for the violent racing death of his best friend. After discovering that the accident was anything but accidental, Jake becomes determined to identify his friend's killer. His efforts embroil him in a plot which twists through real estate development, finance, and cell phone hacking, while he endures both physical and emotional threats to himself and those around him. Resisting both his own temptations to give up and the apathetic disinterest of the authorities, Jake's quest of fits and starts is complicated by his own very personal history with the grieving widow, and culminates in a riveting chase against the quickly-depleting battery of his own stolen cell phone. LOSS OF CONTROL is a mystery/suspense novel told in the first person over a period of 12 days. Set in and around Columbus, Ohio and the Mid-Ohio race track, it highlights the extent to which even close friends will go when the stakes involve sex and money. Anyway, support a local writer if you can. It seems to be a pretty good murder mystery and I'm normally a fan of the genre
