zeitgeist57 Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 I have an old SunTach that Dave Sigman gave me over 10years ago...and it was used then! Temp wired it into Cleetus...+ and - to battery and green lead to (-)coil. Tach is excited, but limits at 1000rpms despite truck obviously exceeding that. Any ideas? PUT BRICK ON PEDAL, BOUNCED ENGINE OFF VALVE FLOAT FOR A WHILE...ENGINE NOW SMOKING AND KNOCKING BUT TACH STILL AT 1K WTF??? Not Brian Posted January 21, 2013 Report Share Posted January 21, 2013 On some aftermarket tachs you can spin a knob that moves the needle (like adjusting your watch) to whatever rpm you want an indicator to light up - telling you to shift.
