XChris1632X
I recently re-enlisted with the armed forces and decided that I would reward myself with some of the money from my bonus. I am going to invest in a lift. I think I have decided between two. Challenger E 10 - Top pick so far http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/2-post-car-lift-challenger-e10-ali-etl-certified-p/challengere10.htm Bend Pak http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/2-post-car-lift-xpr-10a-asymmetric-dual-width-p/bendpakxpr-10a.htm My biggest deciding factor yet is to install it myself of to have someone do it. The local guy wants $550 to install it. While I dont think it is robery due to the job at hand, I am not sure Im excited to pay that either. Due to the fact that lives are at hand, I am not sure that saving money should be my priority. Anyone here install a 2 post themselves? I have heard that it can be difficult and crucial to get them square and the cables adjusted properly.
Rocky31186
I vote challenger lift. I have used tons of them. And the pain of installing, $500 is well worth the payment. Stay very far away from Dannmar brand lifts. A buddy of mine bought one and got screwed. Longgggg story.
Nickey4271647545519
At school we abuse the BendPaks and Forwards daily and they handle it well. I'm not sure who makes Snap-On lifts, but they've been nothing but piles of shit.
06busa
I bought that Bend Pak lift and used it for several years with no complaints. I installed it with 3 or 4 other guys and it was not difficult at all. Just have to take your time.

Gergwheel1647545492
you can do it yourself assuming you are competent. just take your time, make sure everything is level and straight. get some friends too, cause those 2 posts are fucking heavy!! TurboNova
I bought a used 4 post park pro lift and like it
MattKatz
Ive been Eyeballing the Titan Lifts....Look decent and can get a two post for like $1750 OTD.
kirks5oh
i have a bendpak 4 post---bought it from the same site you're looking at---lol. make sure your cement is thick enough to support the 2 post, and just have someone else do it. it cost me $800-ish to have my 4 post installed, and i'd rather have professionals install something i'm going to be standing under. OneRunnin72SST
you reward yourself more than anyone i know... LOL Buy a lift from Tom have him install it and forget about. He will take care of you if something goes wrong or breaks and he won't sell you junk. Keep checking with him until he has what you need. starkmaster03
we have a challenger lift. way better than bend packs imo. Agreed. We used Challengers at a shop I worked at for 5 years and never had any issues with any of them.
Ahmadi6490
You will also need a forklift to install....well at least I did. I think $500 is worth the peace of mind
PapaFark
We have a local service tech that installs the challenger lifts. He also installs them. Messege me if you want his name and phone #. He installed ours and saved us $$$. Did a great job too!!
POS VETT
What's the main purpose of this lift ? For storing or working on a car ?
RS69
I have a used challenger and love it. Yes, you can install it yourself but for $500 I would farm it out. I installed mine and had a fork truck and to unload and it set up.
XChris1632X
What's the main purpose of this lift ? For storing or working on a car ? Weekend working. I am almost 100% on the challenger. The e10 seems like a great choice between the half and half cars and big trucks that I work on. I am still up in the air about having someone install it. I have a front end loader with forks on the front that I can use as well as no time limit. I just want it done right. Maybe I will see if I caj find install videos
neonkiller
Chris we could do it in a day easy, just make sure the cement in that barn can withhold the heavy trucks your gonna have on it.
rb26deet32
My brother got a Rotary lift like 6 months ago and installed it by himself. It took him all day but it works like a champ :fuckyeah:
